The Obama-Biden campaign in Virginia is organizing an AAPI voter registration drive and rally from 12:15 to 6 pm on September 14th. A surprise Asian American Hollywood celebrity is expected to make an appearance. The event will take place at the Falls Church City Campaign Office (1.2 miles from E. Falls Church Metro), 350 S. Washington Street, Falls Church, VA 22046.

This event is being coordinated with the national AAPI outreach program and is a core part of the strategy for winning Virginia. APA voters could make the difference in Virginia, so it is really important that we recruit as many volunteers as possible. The Obama campaign is asking AAA-Fund to recruit 100 to 200 volunteers for the 14th. Please volunteer and get the word out to your networks. Here are the details:

• 12:15 — registration begins
• 1 to 2 pm — voter registration training
• 2 to 3 pm — rally
• 3 to 6 pm — voter registration at APA population and shopping centers in NoVA
